Mi a gondolkodás?

fordítás February 9, 2008 at 4:00am

when you say stop participating you mean: stop thinking? I guess Im sort of addicted to thinking, my thoughts tend to think about "spiritual" matters.’

Lol – all is ‘addicted’ to thinking, because human beings have believed that thoughts of and as the mind is actually who they really are, the thoughts are them ‘conversing with themselves’, when you’re actually communicating with your own mind when following the curiosity of thoughts thinking or believing they have any value or worth in any way whatsoever – when they do not, but keep you pre-occupied and not be here with you in and as breath. Therefore – it is to apply you in every moment of breath – to stop participation in thoughts as they emerge, to not ‘follow them’ – which would be participation, but stop them in their tracks before you play follow the leader straight into your mind within which you give it the opportunity to really interfere with you and your experience of you.

A suggestion: It is not effective to just 'ignore thoughts' - 'ignoring' is still acknowledging the existence of the thought, and stating: 'I do not want to see you so I will shun you away into a corner to not have to deal with you', within this - suppressing yourself.
You have to direct yourself when a thought arise - direction is the question of 'who you are' in the moment of the thought, the answer that question would be you in application/expression of you - are you standing in self honesty as you within directive self expression by stopping/deleting the thought and applying self forgiveness, or are you remaining in/of thought acknowledging the existence of the mind as you instead of making a statement of who you are in the moment?
